Artist's Comments

Wrote this poem for a class assignment last year.

I'm hoping to make a new portfolio sometime soon (maybe this summer) and I would really like all the pages to look similar to this. I feel like it's more personal and eye-catching.

Wonderfully written and very open. Whenever I read your works I can expect those things.

Married to the pen,
and we're both having an affair
with the page.
this is real art... a true message, not just words on a paper and not just a pretty "thing." it's real, it's there and i really hope you got the highest grade possible for it. =D

how can god truly hate true love...?
That's so cool. It's very original, and extremly personal.

 I love it!!

Part of growing up was learning not to be quite that honest- learning when it was better to lie; rather than hurt someone with the truth.
Thanks for the favorite. :)

You can close your eyes from the things you don’t want to see but you can never close your heart from the things you don't want to feel:heart:
I love the concept on this. Would you mind if I used the general scrapbookiness idea for my own portfolio of poetry? I've been looking for a while for something to make it more personal, and I love the general idea of putting the poems on the page with visual additions.

Not to mention, the poem is moving.

Wish that I could cry
Fall upon my knees
Find a way to lie
About a home I’ll never see
Go for it. :) I had the revelation to do the same thing with my portfolio, so good luck! Thanks for the favorite as well.
